The History

McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams was founded in 1949 in Santa Barbara, California, by Gordon and Ernesteen McConnell, who used a French Pot method and high-quality ingredients to create exceptional ice cream. The company gained a loyal following and maintained its artisanal production methods for decades. In 2012, local entrepreneurs Michael Palmer and Eva Ein acquired McConnell’s, expanding its distribution while preserving its commitment to quality. Today, McConnell’s is a nationally recognized brand, celebrated for its innovative flavors and dedication to premium ingredients.
