Stepping into La Laguna restaurant in Canggu, Bali, feels like entering a magical gypsy kingdom frozen in time. The decor is a treasure trove of antiques and artifacts, so impeccably curated it’s hard to look away. Every detail invites admiration, and I could have easily spent hours soaking it all in. Nestled along the shores of Berawa Beach, La Laguna perfectly blends Bohemian chic with vintage charm, making it a beloved destination for both locals and visitors.

On the Menu: La Laguna Restaurant
La Laguna restaurant boasts a diverse menu that beautifully fuses Mediterranean, Spanish, and Indonesian flavors. Crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, the offerings include an array of tapas, seafood, vibrant salads, and expertly grilled meats. The bar complements the experience with an extensive selection of cocktails, wines, and fresh juices, making it a perfect spot to unwind with sunset drinks. We indulged in a variety of appetizers and sipped on refreshing coconut juice, all while soaking in the stunning ocean view.
The Space
One of the main attractions of La Laguna is its prime beachfront location. Guests can relax on comfortable loungers or in private cabanas while enjoying panoramic views of the Indian Ocean. The venue is particularly famous for its stunning sunsets, providing a perfect backdrop for a romantic evening or a relaxed get-together with friends.
La Laguna frequently hosts a variety of events, including live music performances, DJ sets, and cultural shows. It is also a popular venue for private events such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate functions. The vibrant atmosphere and beautiful setting make it an ideal place for celebrations.

As you walk along the path to the restaurant there are intricately painted wooden caravans, beautifully vintage and colorful among the tropical lush green plants.

We had a few appetizers here and a cocktail while overlooking the ocean, a truly wonderful ambiance.
